Youth Killed In Katihar: A 23-year-old Durga Kumar died due to a love affair in Rampur Panchayat Ward No. 5 of Koira police station area of ​​​​Katihar district of Bihar. Actually, Durga had gone with his brother to convince his sister's lover Deepak Kumar Ravidas on Saturday, where the accused and his companions beat him up badly. Durga died during treatment due to serious injuries. 

The accused was harassing his sister

The deceased's sister said that the accused Deepak had been harassing them for the past three months. On complaining about this, both the brothers went to convince Deepak, but he attacked the elder and younger brother. In which Durga was seriously injured. Angry villagers protested by setting fire on the road demanding strict action against the culprits.

The jam lasted for about two hours. Due to the jam, drivers and passengers had to face a lot of difficulties in commuting. On receiving the information about the incident, Kodha police station chief Mukesh Kumar Mandal reached the spot with his team and inquired about the incident. After that, the jam was removed after convincing the angry villagers, only then traffic started.

Police busy investigating murder case

The police controlled the situation, made a Panchnama of the dead body and sent it to Katihar Sadar Hospital for postmortem and started investigating the case. Kodha police has started investigation to get to the bottom of this matter. At the same time, social workers and intellectuals have demanded strict action against the accused. After the incident, the family members are crying and pleading for justice. The police has assured that the accused will be caught soon.
