Meerut Building Collapse News: If only Nafo Bibi had listened to the municipal corporation and had not ignored the councillor's words. If only she had not taken both the words lightly, then perhaps 10 lives could have been saved and so would Nafo Bibi. There was a lot of negligence and every warning was ignored. Now a big revelation has come to light in the case of the collapse of a three-storey house in Meerut's Zakir Colony and the death of 10 people by being buried in it.

After this house accident in Meerut, a big revelation has been made and this revelation has been made by Dr. Harpal Singh, the city health officer in charge of Meerut Municipal Corporation. He looks very sad about this incident but is saying that if only our words had been listened to, 10 lives would not have been lost. Dr. Harpal Singh has revealed that the Municipal Corporation had issued a notice six months ago to shift the dairy. It was also warned that the condition of the house is not good, it is dilapidated and an accident can happen anytime, but that notice was ignored and so was that warning.

The team had come again a week ago to give a warning

Meerut Municipal Corporation in-charge city health officer Dr. Harpal Singh also revealed that a week ago, the municipal corporation team had come to vacate the house and told them that it was raining to avoid an accident. Shift the dairy, they had also talked to Nafisa alias Naffo Bibi and told her that the house is weak from below and an accident can happen, Bibi, please agree, vacate it and shift the dairy somewhere else.

On this, the municipal corporation team was told that they will empty it in just a day or two, but this was not done. Dr. Harpal Singh said that water is exploited excessively with the help of submersible pumps and due to this many dilapidated houses have come into bad condition and the same has happened here, because there was a dairy below and goat rearing was going on above, due to which water was seeping into the walls and beams.

The councillor also explained it well but nobody understood it

Zakir Colony comes under ward-86 and its councillor is Ikram Baliyan. In-charge city health officer Dr. Harpal Singh said that the councillor also went to explain but his words were also not heeded. When we talked to councillor Ikram Baliyan, he said that I myself had gone to tell that the house is dilapidated, why are you inviting death, vacate it and get it repaired. The councillor said that Nafisa Bibi said that Bhaiya, I will soon vacate the house and get it repaired, don't worry, but she never came yesterday and when she came, she came as death and 10 lives were buried in the same dilapidated house.

Nagar Nigam will again launch a campaign against 850 slums

After this incident in Meerut, Meerut Municipal Corporation has become more alert and is going to launch a campaign against the dairies. In-charge city health officer Dr. Harpal Singh says that illegal dairies are being run in dilapidated houses at many places. We are going to issue notices to about 850 dairies again and have ordered all the sanitation inspectors to take strict action. He said that MDA has to take action in the case of dilapidated houses but we are going to start a big campaign against the dairies again and if they do not comply, we will also confiscate buffaloes.
