Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) has informed after the market closed on Monday that the board of the company has approved the borrowing plan for the financial year 2025. The company has approved to increase the borrowing plan for the financial year 2025 to Rs 5,000 crore. With this, the company's borrowing limit for the financial year 2025 has increased from Rs 24,200 crore to Rs 29,200 crore. The company said in the exchange filing, "The Board of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) in its meeting held today i.e. Monday, March 17, 2025 has, among other things, approved to increase the borrowing program for the financial year 2024-25 to Rs 5,000 crore.

IREDA's profit in the third quarter (Q3) of FY 2025 has increased to Rs 425 crore, which is 26.4 percent more than Rs 336 crore a year ago. The company's net interest income (NII) has increased from Rs 448 crore to Rs 622 crore year-on-year. This increase in the company's net interest income is 29 percent. Stock performance On Monday, the company's stock closed at Rs 137.15 with a decline of 1.93 percent. On the basis of the last one year, the company's stock has seen a rise of 3 percent. The 52-week high of the stock is Rs 310.
