Actress Sonakshi Sinha is once again in front of the public with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's web series 'Hiramandi'. Sonakshi's look and her dark character started impressing the audience in the teaser of 'Hiramandi'. Now this show has started streaming on Netflix and in the reviews, along with the show, Sonakshi's work is also being liked a lot. 

The intensity with which Sonakshi, who played Faridan in 'Hiramandi', is playing her dark character, also shows another side of her acting talent very well. Otherwise, till now his roles in films have been mostly positive characters. In the coming days, Sonakshi is going to get a lot of praise for her work and this is something which Sonakshi needs a lot at the moment.

Sonakshi, who made her debut with Salman Khan's film 'Dabangg', has been considered very talented by the industry since the beginning. But in recent times, the response to his films has not been very good. At the beginning of her career, Sonakshi got box office success with films like 'Dabangg', 'Rowdy Rathore', 'Son of Sardaar' and 'R Rajkumar'. At the same time, he also gave a strong performance in films like 'Lootera', which was greatly appreciated by the critics. But since 2014, his films started lagging in theatres. 

Meanwhile, he also tried films like 'Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi', 'Double XL' and 'Khandaani Shafakhana'. These were films with female leads and Sonakshi's characters were also strong. But from 2014 to 2018, his solo films could not do anything special. Sonakshi was definitely in a successful film like 'Mission Mangal', but her role was very small. Sonakshi's last film which did not flop in theaters and in which she was the lead actress, was 'Ittefaq' released in 2017. Since then, the graph of his films has been continuously going downwards. 

Career will get boost from OTT,
OTT is no less than a tonic for Sonakshi who is facing failure of films. Last year his first web series 'Dahad' was released on Amazon Prime Video. The audience liked the performance of Sonakshi, who was playing the role of a cop in this show. Critics also praised Sonakshi's work in 'Dahaad'. 

Now 'Hiramandi' is highlighting Sonakshi's performance in a new way. The biggest thing is that Sonakshi has got a chance to display her full range of acting in this role. The success of first 'Dahad' and now 'Hiramandi' will bring new opportunities for Sonakshi. Now it remains to be seen whether Sonakshi gets more strong characters like 'Lootera' or not.
