Udham Singh Nagar News Today: After Corona, the rapidly spreading HMPV virus has created a furore in the country. HMPV cases are spreading rapidly in many states of the country. After confirmation of HMPV virus patients in India, the Union Health Ministry has issued guidelines for all states.

On the instructions of the central government, the Uttarakhand government has also come into action. The state government has issued orders regarding the HMPV virus and has instructed the health department to improve the arrangements. In this sequence, the Udham Singh Nagar district health department has started improving the isolation wards, ventilators, oxygen beds and other arrangements in the hospitals.

State Health Department gave instructions:
After the outbreak of HMPV virus, the Director General in charge of Uttarakhand Health Department has also given important guidelines to the Udham Singh Nagar District Health Department. The department has been asked to make proper arrangements for oxygen beds, isolation wards, ICU beds, ventilators, oxygen cylinders and essential medicines in all the government hospitals of the district. 

Along with this, all the oxygen plants built during COVID-19 are being made functional. So that if the situation worsens, it can be dealt with. Along with this, the health department is making the general public aware about the HMPV virus and is appealing to people to avoid going to crowded areas.

Health Department Alert
Udham Singh Nagar Health Department CMO Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma said that the HMPV virus originated in China, but now it has reached India. He said that our team is working under the guidelines issued by the Uttarakhand Health Department regarding the HMPV virus. 

CMO Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma said that the general public is being made aware of the HMPV virus. Along with this, work is being done on isolation wards, ICU beds, ventilators, oxygen beds, oxygen cylinders and other important points in all the government hospitals of the district.

The health department has issued several important guidelines to avoid the HMPV virus. Under this, common people should take some precautions and what measures should be taken to prevent it. Let's know-

What to do?
Take care of the elderly, children and people suffering from serious illness.

Avoid going to crowded places.

Wash your hands properly from time to time.

Consume nutritious food and liquids (water) as much as possible.

If symptoms of cold, flu and fever appear, take medicines only after consulting a doctor.

If you develop symptoms related to HMPV, stay away from healthy people.

What not to do?
Avoid close contact with people who have symptoms.

Do not use the medicine without medical consultation.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth repeatedly.

Avoid spitting in public places.

Do not reuse used tissue paper and handkerchiefs.
