HDFC Bank, the country's largest private sector bank, has released business updates for the third quarter of FY 2025. The bank has said in an exchange filing that in the third quarter of FY 2025, the bank's gross advances have seen a growth of 0.9 per cent quarter-on-quarter and 3 per cent year-on-year, reaching ₹2,54,250 crore. The bank's deposits have seen a growth of 15.8 per cent on an annual basis, while it is 2.5 per cent higher on a quarterly basis. During this period, the bank's deposits have reached ₹2,56,350 crore.

HDFC Bank said that CASA deposits in Q3 fell 4.4 percent year-on-year to Rs 87,250 crore, while it declined 1.2 percent on a quarterly basis. In its business update, the bank said that time deposits declined 4.6 percent quarterly and 22.7 percent year-on-year to Rs 1,69,100 crore. CASA Ratio at 34.04 percent

Share Performance

On Friday, HDFC Bank shares fell 2.53 per cent to close at Rs 1,748.40. In the last one year, the bank's shares have increased by 3.40 per cent. The 52-week high of the share is Rs 1,880.
