Gujarat Crime News: The tantrik accused of killing 12 people with sodium nitrate died in police custody on Sunday. Tantrik Naval Singh Chavda, who used to cheat people, was arrested by Sarkhej police on 3 December. During interrogation, he confessed to committing 12 murders with sodium nitrate. The court sent Naval Singh on police remand till 10 December. Ahmedabad Zone-7 DCP Shivam Verma said that today the health of tantrik Naval Singh suddenly deteriorated in police custody.

The tantrik was taken to the hospital for treatment. He died in the hospital during treatment. He told that the accused used to cheat people in the name of witchcraft and tantra mantra. Naval Singh also used to run a YouTube channel named 'Moje Masani' to mislead people. He had committed a total of 12 murders for financial gain. He also killed three members of his family. During interrogation, the case of murder of 1 family member in Aslali, 3 in Surendranagar, 3 in Paddhari of Rajkot, 1 in Anjar, 1 in Wankaner and 3 family members came to light. After trapping people, the tantrik used to kill them by mixing sodium nitrate in alcohol.

After committing the crime, he would loot cash and jewellery. The son of a policeman and the factory owner were also trapped in the trap of the tantrik. Bhijeet Singh Rajput of Sanand has a factory in Changodar. The tantrik, who cheated by claiming to be 'Bhuva', called the factory owner to Sanathal with Rs 15 lakh.
