Greater Noida News: Surajpur police station has revealed the blind murder within just 12 hours and arrested an accused during an encounter. The police has also recovered the murder weapon from his possession. According to the information, the body of a young man was found in a bloody state on the roadside on the 130 meter service road this morning. When the police reached the spot and investigated the matter, it was found that an unknown person killed the deceased by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon and fled from the spot. 

 

After this, the police investigated the case further and checked the footage of the CCTV cameras installed nearby. Also, the family members of the deceased were contacted and then the information was found. The deceased Santosh, who is a resident of Dadri, works in a private company. He used to visit his friend Umesh's house. Accused Umesh suspected that his wife had an illicit relationship with the deceased Santosh. Due to this, he planned to kill Santosh. 

 

Murdered on suspicion of illicit relations While


giving information, Station Incharge Surajpur Vinod Kumar said that accused Umesh suspected that deceased Santosh was having illicit relations with his wife. Regarding this, yesterday he was repeatedly telling his co-workers in the company that he would kill him. After which after the duty was over, accused Santosh sat on the bike of deceased Umesh. On the way, both of them drank alcohol, then turned the motorcycle towards 130 meter road from Tilpata Chowk and after finding a deserted place, he killed him by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon.

 

He confessed to the murder during interrogation; 


when the police took him into custody and interrogated him strictly, he confessed his crime. Then the police took him back to the scene of the incident to recover the murder weapon. During this time, he freed himself from the police's hands and started running away, after which the police took action and had an encounter and during the encounter the accused was arrested. Currently the accused has been taken to the nearest hospital for treatment and his criminal history is also being investigated.
