In which direction should Bappa's face be during Ganpati immersion?
- While performing Ganpati Visarjan, Lord Ganesha 's face should be towards the house and his back should be outside the house. It is believed that keeping one's back towards the house makes Bappa angry because poverty resides in his back. Therefore, it is said that Ganesha's back should not be towards the house even by mistake.
- Facing your back towards the house can allow negative energy to enter the house.
- Before immersion, one should pray for the happiness and prosperity of the family. Also, one should ask for forgiveness for all the mistakes.
- Bappa should be bid farewell according to the auspicious time.

Based on the Panchag, this year the immersion of Ganesha will start after 06:07 am. Ganesha immersion can be done between 09:11 am to 01:47 pm. At the same time, in the afternoon it will be done between 03:19 pm to 04:51 pm.
