Rajesh Singh is said to be a supporter of Hindu organization and Bharatiya Janata Party's ideology while Roshni Jaiswal is a Congress leader. Both are very active on social media. On September 15, Roshni Jaiswal reached the house of Rajesh Singh, a resident of Pandeypur area, along with her family and supporters. During this, she alleged that very indecent comments have been made against her on social media and she has been upset about this for a long time.

During this time, a video of Rajesh Singh being beaten up by his supporters is also going viral on social media. On the other hand, Rajesh Singh also alleges that Congress leader Roshni Jaiswal uses derogatory words for the Chief Minister and the Prime Minister, which he has been constantly opposing. However, a complaint was lodged in Varanasi's Lalpur police station by both the parties regarding this matter and a case has been registered from both sides.

ADCP Varuna Zone of Varanasi Police Commissionerate Chandrakant Mina told ABP News in a conversation that, this is being reported as a case of assault over a comment on social media, in which a woman has alleged that a person has made extremely indecent comments against her on Facebook. On the other hand, the person says that the woman was beaten up after reaching her home and her belongings were snatched. Complaints have been received from both sides in this matter. The views of both the parties have been heard. A case is being filed from both the sides. After this, further necessary legal action will be taken.
