Moradabad Police Encounter: UP STF has got a big success in the kidnapping case of Jio Fiber manager Abhinav Bhardwaj from Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. In this case, STF had an encounter with the criminals in Moradabad on Saturday morning. In which one of the accused got shot near the neck. Due to which he got injured and has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. While two other accomplices were caught by the police and Abhinav was recovered safely. 

This encounter took place at around 5 am on Saturday, a few steps away from the District Magistrate's residence in Moradabad. According to the police, the accused had kidnapped the manager of Jio Fiber company from Hathras on Friday. The accused had claimed to be members of Delhi's notorious gangster Tillu Tajpuria gang and demanded a ransom of Rs 20 lakh. After which the STF and Hathras police team were engaged in investigating the case. 

The accused was shot in a police encounter.
The police said that after kidnapping Abhinav, the kidnappers first took him to Almora in Uttarakhand and from there demanded twenty lakh rupees in exchange for releasing him. The accused had asked to pay the ransom money in Moradabad. The family reached Moradabad with this money and gave the ransom amount to the kidnappers. That's when the UPSTF team started chasing them. 

The STF surrounded the accused near Nandan Sweets, a few steps away from the District Magistrate's residence in Civil Lines police station area of ​​Moradabad, after which an encounter took place with the police. In this encounter, a miscreant Vishal was shot. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Moradabad for treatment, while his other two companions have been arrested. The police have freed Abhinav Bhardwaj safely. 

In this case, two other accomplices of accused Vishal, Karan Bisht and Sujal Kumar have been arrested from the spot. These two kidnappers are also said to be residents of Dharanaula police station area of ​​Almora.
