In today's time, farmers are earning good profits in farming by adopting new technologies in agriculture. A farmer from Haryana has done something similar. He left traditional farming and started apple plum farming. Today he is earning good profits from this.

Actually, Ravindra Chahar, a resident of Hadoda in Charkhi Dadri district of Haryana, is a farmer by profession. Earlier he used to grow wheat and mustard under traditional farming. But once a natural disaster struck such that the entire crop grown in the field was destroyed. After this incident, he decided to do advanced farming. Then he turned towards fruit farming. He planted many varieties of trees including apple plum. Due to this, she is earning profits worth lakhs of rupees.


Farmer Ravindra Chahar said that he had started apple plum farming four years ago to overcome the continuous losses in traditional farming . For this he collected a lot of information and bought high-quality plants from different places. Till now, the team of the Agriculture and Horticulture Department has inspected his fields several times.

Earned Rs 5 lakh by spending Rs 40 thousand

Today he is cultivating apple plums on two and a half acres. In this, they have to spend 30 to 40 thousand rupees every year. Due to this they earn around Rs 4 to 5 lakh every year. Seeing their success, the District Horticulture Officer, Dr. Arun Kumar is inspiring other farmers also to cultivate it.
