In Etawah, a woman was beaten and tortured when she could not become a mother even after seven years of marriage. Frustrated by this, the woman committed suicide by hanging herself. The postmortem report shows the cause of the woman's death as hanging. Her parents have accused of murder. There is also talk of the woman's blood-stained clothes being found outside the village. However, the police are denying this.

On Saturday night, the body of Arfan's 30-year-old wife Sonam was found lying on the bed inside the house in Mohanpur village of Chaubia police station area. The deceased's husband informed the in-laws about this matter. On receiving the information, the woman's parents reached her in-laws' house from Ajitmal Auraiya crying. Before the parents could reach, the husband fled from the house while only Sonam's mother-in-law was found at home. The police forensic team sent the body for post-mortem after investigation. It is being said that when the police inquired, the mother-in-law told that Sonam was beaten up and that is why she died. Chaubia SO Bechan Singh said that the woman committed suicide by hanging, the post-mortem was conducted by a panel of three doctors. The cause of the woman's death has been shown as hanging in the report. The woman could not become a mother, so she committed suicide. The matter is being investigated.

 

She was being treated for not becoming a mother

 

It had been seven years since Sonam's marriage, but she was unable to become a mother. Her parents and in-laws were getting her treated. Even after this there was no benefit. The woman was getting upset due to the taunts from family members as well as society. She had come to her in-laws' house from her parents' house. Brother Lalu told that she was getting treatment from doctors to become a mother but her in-laws were torturing her. It was alleged that the in-laws beat her to death and stuffed the blood-stained clothes in a sack and threw them at the bank of a pond.
