Delhi Building Collapsed News: Two workers died and four others were injured when the roof of an under-construction building collapsed in Madanpur Dabas area of Rohini in northwest Delhi on Sunday. Police said that the deceased have been identified as Ram Chander (30) and Raj Kumar (30), residents of Bhagya Vihar, Delhi. The bodies of both the deceased have been kept at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Mangolpuri for post-mortem.
Delhi Police officials said that one of the injured has been identified as Sonu (32), a resident of Meer Vihar, while the identity of the other injured person is yet to be ascertained. Both the injured persons in the building collapse are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The incident of the roof of an under-construction building collapsing in Madanpur Dabas, Rohini, happened at 5:31 pm. The Kanjhawala police station was informed about this through a PCR call.
Additional DCP of Rohini district Rohini Kumar said that a police team reached the spot in Madanpur Dabas of Kanjhawala, where it was found that four injured people have been taken to the hospital. The officer said that preliminary investigation revealed that the roof of the under-construction building suddenly fell on the workers working in the evening. According to Delhi Police, necessary legal action is being taken in the case.
Four were rescued safely
According to the Delhi Fire Service, they received information about a house collapse in Meer Vihar, Madanpur at around 5:40 pm. DFS chief Atul Garg said that five fire engines were rushed to the spot and four people were rescued from the spot.
