Attack On Police Team: On Sunday, a deadly attack was made on a police team that had gone to vacate a land in Begusarai district, in which about half a dozen police personnel were injured. They are being treated at the local PHC. The entire incident is of Pranpur village of Bakhri police station area. 

Occupation of 16 bighas of land

It is said that about 150 Mahadalit families had occupied this 16 bigha land about two years ago and were doing farming business along with their huts on this land. Meanwhile, the land owner started removing the huts of the people who had settled illegally, due to which a dispute arose between the two parties and the matter escalated.

The matter became so serious that it reached the police station. Later the police also reached the spot. The police was still trying to understand the matter of both the parties when one party attacked the police team, in which many policemen were injured. About half a dozen policemen were seriously injured in this incident which happened in a land dispute, who are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The injured policemen include Bakhri police station in-charge Faisal Ahmed Ansari, sub-inspector Archana Jha, sub-inspector Pushpalata Kumari, sub-inspector Kundan Kumar and the station's driver Chandan Kumar. All are undergoing treatment. It is being told that the case of this disputed land was going on in the court for the last few years. About 150 Mahadalit families had settled on 16 bigha land in Pranpur of Bakhri police station area for the last few years, on which the land owner sought refuge in the court.

Fighting during hut removal

After this, the judgement came in favour of the land owner through the court, after which all the land owners went to remove the huts on the land. While removing the huts, a dispute started between the two parties. The dispute deepened so much that a fight broke out between the two parties, the information of which reached the Bakhri police station. On receiving the information, Bakhri police station in-charge Faisal Ahmed Ansari reached the spot with the force, but he too was forced to flee from the spot.

Later, the information was received by Bakhri SDPO and Begusarai SP Manish Kumar. As soon as the information was received, SP Manish Kumar along with a large number of police forces reached the spot. They are engaged in controlling the situation. However, information about the entire case has not been received yet through a senior police officer.
