Badal Murder Case: A special team of CID reached Sasaram on Friday to investigate the famous Badal murder case in Sasaram. Under the leadership of three DSPs, the team closely inspected the crime scene located on the old GT Road. During this, Sasaram SDPO Dilip Kumar, City Police Station In-charge Rajiv Ranjan Rai, and Nasriganj Police Station In-charge, who has previously been the IO of this case, were present, but no concrete answer was received from the top officials regarding the matter. 

DIG did not answer the media

During the investigation, the DIG closely inspected the spot and the surrounding premises. He took information about the entire case from Rohtas SP, Sadar SDPO, and Nagar SHO for about an hour. However, the DIG refused to make any comment before the media. He said that this case is still in the investigation stage, and it would not be appropriate to say anything at the moment. 

On the other hand, Rohtas SP Roshan Kumar said that three cases related to this murder case have been registered. Their investigation has been handed over to the CID as per the instructions of Bihar Police Headquarters. The Police Headquarters had handed over the responsibility of investigation to the CID on 31 December 2024. About ten days later, the team reached the spot and started its action. In this incident, the then traffic DSP Adil Bilal and his bodyguard Chandramouli Nagia have been described as the main accused. A youth named Badal died in the firing on the night of 27 December 2024.

There is anger among the local public regarding this murder. People are demanding strict action against the culprits. At the same time, the incident has also raised questions on the police administration and law and order. However, people are also waiting for the CID investigation.
