Constitution Day 2024: The government is trying to make the public aware about the Constitution, which the opposition parties try to use as a weapon against the BJP in the elections. This is going to happen for the first time, when it has been decided to celebrate Constitution Day in all the gram panchayats of the country on Constitution Day.

Panchayati Raj Ministry has completed the preparations

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has issued guidelines to all state governments and union territories regarding special gram sabhas and other activities. Constitution Day will be celebrated across the country on November 26. The central government has made special preparations for this. Apart from a big program for the youth in New Delhi, the Ministry of Panchayati Raj is going to take this effort of the government to the village level.

The preamble of the constitution will be recited

The ministry has written a letter to all the states and union territories in this regard and issued guidelines regarding the event. It has been said that on this day, a special Gram Sabha will be organized in all the Gram Panchayats, the center of which will be the Constitution. The villagers living in the concerned Panchayat area are the Gram Panchayat members, so all of them will be invited and the Preamble of the Constitution will be recited and the oath of the Constitution will be administered.

Many programs will be organized

The speakers will honour the freedom fighters and mention their contribution to the country's independence. A quiz competition on constitutional values ​​will be organised in the schools and colleges of the Gram Panchayat area. A competition on constitutional rights and duties will be organised in the colleges. All the Gram Panchayats have been asked to hold discussions by bringing together the self-help groups on the role of women in nation building.

Instructions given to officers

There are instructions to organize separate programs in the villages of notified states with majority tribal population. The Panchayati Raj Ministry has asked the concerned Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of these states to make them aware of the rights given to the tribal class in the Constitution.

For this, there will be a detailed discussion in the Gram Sabhas. The objective of the government is to convey the message of the positive sentiments of the NDA government towards the Constitution to the people, so that the edge of the tactics used by the opposition in elections can be blunted.
