Jammu Kashmir News: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday busted a terrorist hideout. The terrorists had set up their hideout in Sangalan forest area of ​​Anantnag. After the raid, the security forces recovered a huge amount of arms and ammunition from the terrorist hideout.

The terrorists' hideout was built in a natural cave. A joint team of Special Operations Group, 19 National Rifles and CRPF foiled the terrorist plot. Jammu and Kashmir Police said that the security forces team has achieved success in the anti-terrorism operation.

Based on intelligence inputs, security forces conducted an intensive search operation in the dense forest. During the raid, it was revealed that the terrorist hideout was being used as a logistics base. The spokesperson said that about 200 empty AK cartridges, two gas cylinders, a Chinese grenade, a night vision device (NVD), bedding, utensils and food packets were recovered from the terrorist hideout. The weapons recovered highlight the role of the hideout in supporting terrorist activities.
