Delhi Assembly Election 2025: To increase voting in the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, the Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) has launched a 'come and vote, take discount' campaign in Sundar Nagar market. Under this campaign, those who vote on February 5 will be given special offers and discounts on February 6 in more than 50 markets of Delhi.
CTI Chairman Brijesh Goyal and President Subhash Khandelwal said that in the first week of February, there are a lot of weddings in Delhi NCR, so to avoid any decrease in the voting percentage, discussions were held with more than 100 market associations and to encourage voters to vote on 5 February, it has been decided to give special offers and discounts to the voters on shopping in different markets on 6 February after the voting.
Voters will get various types of discounts
Brijesh Goyal said that the markets participating in this campaign include Nehru Place Market, Kamala Nagar Market, Khari Baoli, Chandni Chowk, Lajpat Nagar Market, Rohini Market, Kashmiri Gate Market, Azadpur Mandi etc. Voters will get various types of discounts in these markets.
This discount will be available in these markets
- Up to 10 percent discount on computers, laptops etc. in Nehru Place market.
- 15 percent discount in Kamala Nagar market.
- 5 percent discount in Khari Baoli.
- 1 percent discount on purchase of gold and silver in Chandni Chowk.
- 5-10 percent discount in Lajpat Nagar market.
- 3 percent discount in Rohini market.
- Up to 5 percent discount in Kashmiri Gate market.
- 5% discount on vegetables and fruits in Azadpur Mandi.
Apart from this, according to Pawan Mittal, General Secretary of Delhi Hotel Federation, an additional 20 percent discount will be given on room booking in all types of hotels and guest houses in Paharganj and Karol Bagh. Deepak Mehta, President of Old Delhi Hotel Association, said that up to 25 percent discount will be given to voters in hotels in places like Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Delhi Gate etc.
CTI members will also give discounts
More than 5 thousand members of CTI will also give discounts at their shops. This campaign has been started to encourage the voters of Delhi to exercise their right to vote.
