Raipur Building Collapse: A major accident has happened in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. On Saturday (January 11), the centering of an under-construction residential complex collapsed in Raipur. Two people are reported dead in this accident while many are reported to be injured. Rescue and relief work is going on at the spot.

The matter is of Telibandha police station area. According to the information, many workers are feared to be trapped due to the collapse of a multi-storey building on VIP Road in Raipur. 8 workers have been evacuated, out of which two have died. At the same time, the condition of some is said to be critical. All have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. 

Slab laying work was going on.
According to the Times of India report, this accident happened on Saturday, January 10 at around 3.30 pm, when the workers were laying slabs in the building. This work was going on between the seventh and the tenth floor. During this time, the centering suddenly fell. 

Two workers died during treatment
As soon as the news of the accident was received, teams reached there for relief and rescue work and about 8 workers were immediately rescued, who were stuck between the iron rod and the building. After being rescued, they were immediately sent to the hospital. Two seriously injured workers died during treatment. 

Earlier it
was reported that 10 workers were injured. However, after getting complete information about the situation, the number of workers was reported to be 8. Currently, the administration is clearing the debris at the spot to ensure that no more people are trapped. This information has been given by ASP Lakhan Patle.
