New Delhi: Canada has become a safe haven for not only Khalistani terrorists but also for gangsters and drug smugglers, who are carrying out extortion, target killings and drug smuggling in Punjab from there. The nexus of gangsters, drug smugglers and terrorists has become a major cause of concern for Indian security agencies.
Instead of stopping these criminals wanted in India, Canada is providing them protection for its own benefit. The situation is such that about 29 gangsters from Punjab have taken refuge in Canada on fake passports, many of whom have been declared terrorists by India.
Trudeau busy pursuing political interests
In 2018, when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited India, the then Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh handed him a list of 10 such people who had escaped the legal process and were living in Canada. But the current Justin Trudeau government is not taking any action against them to fulfill political interests under the guise of freedom of speech.
Evidence provided to Canada
Many people sitting abroad are involved in the nexus of these gangsters and drug smugglers. Solid evidence of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, whose murder has led to the downfall of India-Canada relations, being a Khalistani terrorist has been handed over to the Canadian government.
Asylum granted in Canada
Khalistani terrorists like Gurjeet Cheema, Malkit Fauji, Sulinder Singh, Hardeep Sohota, Gurjant Singh Pannu, Parminder Singh Dulai, Bhagat Singh Brar, Tahil Singh have been taking refuge in Canada for years. Along with this, gangsters like Goldy Brar, Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi, Gurwinder Singh alias Baba Dalla, Satwinder Singh alias Sam, Sanowar Dhillon, Lakhvir Singh alias Landa, Arsh Dalla alias Arshdeep Singh Arsh, Gagana alias Gagandeep, Deep Navanshahria, Rinku Bihla, Raman Judge have found refuge in Canada.
Battle for supremacy
Justin Trudeau may have sheltered terrorists, gangsters and drug smugglers for his political gains, but he himself has to bear the brunt of it. The real reason behind the death of terrorist Nirjhar, whose murder Canada is blaming India for, is being said to be a fight for supremacy between various gangs. Incidents of gang wars are now becoming common in Canada, once known for peace and prosperity.
