New Delhi: Relations between Canada and India are getting worse. Canada's spy agency has issued a new warning. Canada has once again made baseless allegations that India can launch a major cyber attack on Canada. Canada's government website is being continuously targeted.

According to the Communications Security Establishment of Canada, India is monitoring separatists through cyber technology. The agency alleges that India is also using cyber capabilities to enhance attacks against Canadian government networks.

What did the Canadian agency allege?

Caroline Xavier, head of Canada's Communications Security Establishment, said, "It is clear that we are looking at India as an emerging cyber threat country. The agency says that relations between India and Canada have deteriorated due to cyber attacks.

The agency said in its report that after Canada's allegations, pro-India hacktivist groups carried out DDoS attacks on Canadian websites, including the army's site. The website was flooded with online traffic. Due to this, people could not access these websites.

Where did the bitterness in relationships come from?

In the year 2023, Canadian terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar was shot dead by unknown persons in Vancouver, Canada. Later, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused India of the murder. But till date Trudeau has not been able to present a single proof. There is bitterness in the relations between Canada and India since the murder of Nijjar. India called back its diplomats from Canada. Apart from this, India has expelled six Canadian diplomats from the country.

Which countries are in the list apart from India?

Canada's intelligence agency has placed India in the list of countries with emerging cyber threats. Surprisingly, apart from India, Russia, China and North Korea are also included in this list. Except India, other countries do not get along well with western countries.

Western countries consider Russia, China and North Korea as a big threat. Ever since returning from the G-20 conference in New Delhi, Justin Trudeau has continued to make wild allegations against India. However, India has repeatedly demanded evidence to support the allegations.
