Prayagraj News Today: The administration has prepared a special plan for crowd management through Operation Eleven on the Amrit Snan of Basant Panchami in Maha Kumbh. This plan has been made on the strict instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath . A one-way route has been prepared for the safety of the devotees. So that an incident like the stampede that happened on Mauni Amavasya can be prevented.

Apart from this, special arrangements have been made to ensure that the devotees coming to the fair do not face any problem on the pontoon bridges. The most important thing is that additional police force is being deployed to prevent excessive pressure on the Triveni Ghats. Senior officers will also be deployed there with their teams. The number of barricades has also been increased.

Crowd management plan from 'Operation 11'

1. One way route will be strictly implemented
It has been decided to strictly implement one way traffic system on Basant Panchami in Maha Kumbh. Traffic diversion will be done on major routes to control the smooth traffic of devotees and in case of large number. Traffic will continue on most of the pontoon bridges. Also, additional police force and barricading have been arranged to control the crowd at the bathing ghats.

2. Security tightened in key areas
Special security arrangements have been made on the New Yamuna Bridge. A company of PAC has been deployed under the leadership of an additional gazetted officer to control traffic from Naini to Sangam. Apart from this, two motorcycle squads will patrol continuously. Not only this, the side railing of the bridge has been strengthened, so that any kind of accident can be avoided.

3. Special surveillance on Shastri Setu:
A company of PAC and a gazetted officer have been specially deployed to control traffic from Jhunsi to Sangam. Also, two motorcycle squads will be on active patrol.

4. Crowd management at Tikramafi turn
CAPF has been deployed under the leadership of a gazetted officer. Traffic coming from Jhunsi to Tikramafi turn will be diverted from Katka Tiraha, Giraffe Chauraha, Chhatnag turn and Samudrakoop turn. The road divider has been leveled for smooth traffic of devotees.

5. Special arrangements have been made on Phaphamau and pontoon bridges
. Special arrangements have been made on Phaphamau bridge and pontoon bridges. Policemen will patrol continuously with two motorcycle squads and PAC has been deployed to control traffic and entry and exit of devotees.

6. Railway station - Special arrangements for bus movement
Special arrangements have been made at Jhunsi railway station. PAC has been deployed here under the leadership of a gazetted officer. Strong barricading has been done at the entry and exit points. Also, the frequency of trains is being increased in coordination with the railway officials.

7. Bus operation plan has been prepared.
Arrangements have been made to operate buses to Gorakhpur and Varanasi from the temporary bus station Saraswati Dwar. Sufficient number of reserved buses will be parked in Jhunsi at night. Shuttle buses will be operated from Andawa to Saraswati Dwar and Sahason, so that the devotees coming to the fair do not face any inconvenience.

8. Special security at Prayag Junction:
Police under the leadership of three Deputy Superintendents of Police and two companies of PAC have been deployed. Strong barricading and adequate police force have been arranged at Yudhishthir intersection to stop the traffic going towards Prayag Junction from the IERT flyover. Adequate number of signages have been arranged for the convenience of the devotees.

9. To avoid crowd at these intersections,
adequate police force and PAC have been deployed under the leadership of gazetted officers for diversion at Medical College intersection and Balsan intersection. There will be diversion from Balsan towards Nagvasuki area via Bakshi Dam. From Stanley Road intersection, devotees will be taken to the fair area via Lajpat Rai Road, Divisional Commissioner Office intersection, Bharat Scout, turning right from Mazar intersection next to IERT parking. 

10. Apart from this, additional police and traffic police have been deployed at Andawa and Sahso crossings. Nine motorcycle squads will keep constant vigil here. Cranes are being arranged to deal with any emergency.

11. Arrangement of additional force:
For the third Amrit Snan festival, additional arrangements of two companies of RAF and three companies of PAC have been made. Gazetted officers will monitor sensitive places. 56 Quick Response Teams (QRT) have been deployed. 15 motorcycle squads have been deployed for effective patrolling. CAPF and PAC have been arranged at the barriers of major intersections and diversion points.
