WASHINGTON: The US intelligence agency CIA launched a new campaign on Wednesday to recruit informants in China, Iran and North Korea, saying its effort to recruit Russians had been successful.

In a statement, a CIA spokesperson said the intelligence agency has posted instructions in Mandarin, Farsi and Korean on its x, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, LinkedIn accounts and the dark web on how to contact it securely.

This is how you can contact

The Mandarin-language video posted on YouTube provided only written instructions, advising people to contact the CIA through its official website using a trusted encrypted Virtual Private Network (VPN) or TOR network. It asked for people's names, locations and contact details, which were not related to their real identities.

Let us tell you that in the American intelligence community, Russia, China, Iran and North Korea are considered 'hard targets' whose governments are difficult to infiltrate.
