Firozabad News Today: In Firozabad's Tundla area, bulldozer action against illegal colonies continues for the second day through Firozabad Shikohabad Development Authority. Firozabad Shikohabad Development Authority has taken this action in Tundla, where many illegal colonies are being developed.

In this regard, an official of Firozabad Shikohabad Development Authority said that a large number of illegal colonies are being developed in Tundla area. He said that the colonizers here are doing plotting without the NOC of the Development Authority.

Fraud by showing illegal maps
Recently, in Tundla area, colonies are being developed illegally in the fields of farmers in large numbers against the norms of the development authority. Colonizers lease the land of farmers for 4 to 5 years, after which they sell the plots on the leased land to customers by showing illegal maps.

Secretary of Vikas Pradhikaran Rajendra Singh said that the electricity department is also playing a big role in promoting illegal colonies because the colony which has not been approved by Vikas Pradhikaran has been given electrification facility through the electricity department. He said that by placing a transformer from 11000 line, a separate connection is being given in the name of the colony which is absolutely wrong according to the rules.

Bulldozers run on illegal colonies
In a similar case, under the leadership of Development Authority Secretary Rajendra Singh, bulldozers were run on two illegal colonies being built on Firozabad Road. The administration has demolished the poles installed for electrification in these colonies with the help of JCB and has also demolished the office built in the colony.

Development Authority Secretary Rajendra Kumar Singh said that more than 45 illegal colonies have been demolished in the last one year. Earlier yesterday also, bulldozer action was taken against illegal colonies in Tundal area.

Acquisition of land of 43 villages
In 2016, the development authority acquired 43 villages in and around Tundla, but no format for land use in rural areas has been finalised yet. Despite this, colonies are continuously being developed illegally on agricultural land. In such a situation, the administration has also intensified action against these illegal colonies.
