Bharti Airtel has released the results for the quarter ended September 2024. The company has said that the consolidated profit has come down to Rs 3593 crore in this quarter, which was Rs 4160 crore in the quarter ended June 2024. A CNBC-TV18 poll had estimated a profit of Rs 4,336 crore. This is a decline of 13.6 per cent in Bharti Airtel's profit on a quarterly basis. However, the company's profit has seen an increase of 167 per cent year-on-year. A year ago, the company had registered a profit of Rs 1,341 crore in this quarter.
In the quarter ended September 2024, the company has reported consolidated income of Rs 41,473.3 crore while the estimate was Rs 40,835 crore. In the previous quarter ended June 2024, the company had reported income of Rs 38,506 crore. Bharti Airtel's EBITDA has increased quarter-on-quarter from Rs 19,707.6 crore to Rs 21,846.3. EBITDA margin increased to 52.7 per cent in the September quarter from 51.2 per cent in the previous quarter.
Mobile average revenue per unit (ARPU) has increased to ₹ 233 in the second quarter of FY 2025 as against ₹ 203 in the second quarter of FY 2024. Shashwat Sharma will be appointed MD, CEO Bharti Airtel said on October 28 that Shashwat Sharma, currently Chief Operating Officer, will be appointed MD and CEO on January 1, 2026. On January 1, 2026, Gopal Vittal will assume the role of Executive Vice Chairman of Bharti Airtel Limited. Stock Performance On Monday, Bharti Airtel's stock closed at Rs 1,665.05, down 0.057 per cent. In the last one year, the company's stock has seen a growth of 79.76 per cent. The 52-week high of the stock is Rs 1,779.
