Lucknow News: Dinesh Pratap Singh, minister in the Yogi government, sent a consignment of Dussehri mangoes to Dubai:

News Topical, Digital Desk : Lucknow News: Malihabad mango in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow is making its mark in the country and the world. Malihabad mango is being exported not only to India but also to different corners of the world. Agricultural export has reached new heights under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath . Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Horticulture, Agricultural Marketing, Agricultural Foreign Trade and Agricultural Export, Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh reached Rehman Kheda and flagged off the first consignment of 1200 kg of mangoes from the Mango Pack House and sent it to Dubai.

This consignment of mangoes has been sent from Lucknow to Dubai via air. The importer company is Vigro Trading LLC in Dubai, UAE. The total value of the consignment sent today is said to be 2992 US dollars. Another similar consignment of 1200 kg worth 2992 US dollars was also sent to Dubai yesterday. The mangoes of the state have also made a mark abroad.

What did the Horticulture Minister say?
Horticulture Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh in the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh said that the export of mangoes is making the central and state governments famous abroad. The government is trying to increase the income of the farmers along with their crops. Continuous efforts are being made by the government for the progress of the farmers, it is the result of that that today the recognition of advanced type of farming is being seen. Not only mango, the government is trying to uplift the farmers by exploring different types of agriculture related dimensions. He said that the government's goal is that the mango producing farmers of Uttar Pradesh make a strong identity in the global market. The government is providing every possible support to the farmers in production, packaging and export as per international standards.

The Horticulture Minister said that under the Indo-German AMD project, the capacity of 3 FPOs selected from Lucknow region was developed by giving them training in agricultural export. Out of these, Irada Farmers Producer Company Limited and Malihabad Farmer Producer Company Limited have received direct orders of Dussehri mango from Dubai. Both these FPOs are exporting mangoes to Dubai on their own level for the first time this year. This is a historic achievement for the mango producers of Uttar Pradesh. He said that the price of the mangoes sent is around Rs 211 per kilogram, which is 5 times more than the local market price.
