New Delhi. In Hinduism, the festival of Bhadali Navami is celebrated with full traditions and rituals. It is also known as Bhatli Navami, Ashara Shukla Paksha Navami, Kandarp Navami. It is usually celebrated during the month of 'Ashadha'. This year it is being celebrated on Monday, July 15, 2024, i.e. today. This date is considered the last day of auspicious works like marriage and mundane.On Bhadrali Navami day, i.e. today, Ravi Yoga will remain throughout the day. Along with this, Amrit Kaal will remain from 02:49 pm to 04:35 pm. At the same time, Vijay Muhurat will remain from 02:45 pm to 03:40 pm. This time is considered fruitful for any auspicious work and worship.
 

On this day, wake up in the morning and take a holy bath. Then purify the place of worship by pouring Gangajal. Also clean the temple and the house thoroughly. Light a lamp in the temple at home. Install the idol of Maa Durga on an altar. Anoint her with Gangajal. Offer rice, vermilion and red flowers to the mother. Offer seasonal fruits and halwa, puri, and gram.

Light incense and a lamp and do the Aarti of the Goddess. On this day, do read the twelfth chapter of Durga Saptashati and Durga Chalisa.
