Banks will remain closed in these states today, April 9, the first day of Navratri.

9 April 2024: Banks will remain closed in Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji and Srinagar on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi Festival, Telugu New Year and first Navratri. Banks will remain closed in Maharashtra due to Gudi Padwa. Apart from this, banks in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad-Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad-Telangana, Manipur, Goa, Jammu and Srinagar are going to remain closed due to Ugadi Mahotsav, Telugu New Year and first Navratri.

Banks will remain closed for three days this week

In some states, banks are going to remain closed only for three days due to Gudi Padwa (Tuesday 9), Ramzan-Eid (Eid-ul-Fitr) (Thursday), and the second Saturday of the month (April 13).

10 April 2024: Kochi and Kerala will remain closed due to Eid.

11 April 2024: Many banks will remain closed across the country due to Eid, but banks of Chandigarh, Gangtok, Imphal, Kochi, Shimla, and Thiruvananthapuram will remain open.

15 April 2024 : Banks of Guwahati and Shimla will remain closed due to Himachal Day.

17 April 2024 : Ram Navami is on 17 April. On the occasion of Ram Navami, banks will not open in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Mumbai and Nagpur.

20 April 2024: Banks will remain closed in Agartala on the occasion of Garia Puja.
