UP By Polls 2024: BJP has fully geared up for the by-elections to be held on 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh and will soon finalize the names of BJP candidates. Along with this, BJP will also talk to the allies for the UP by-elections. Tomorrow, on Sunday (October 12) evening, the UP BJP core group meeting is to be held in Delhi and the UP BJP president will reach Delhi tomorrow with a panel of 3 names each. 

For the UP by-elections, a panel of 4-5 names is ready for some seats like Milkipur in Ayodhya, Katehari seat in Ambedkar Nagar. UP CM Yogi Adityanath , both Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak and organization minister will be present along with the UP BJP president. During this time, there will be brainstorming on tickets in the presence of BJP President JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah .

Mirapur seat will go to RLD's account 

According to the information, Mirapur seat of Muzaffarnagar will go to RLD. BJP will brainstorm on the names of candidates for 9 seats tomorrow. Samajwadi Party has announced candidates for 6 seats for UP by-elections. BSP has also announced the names of candidates on many seats. Along with this, Azad Samaj Party has also fielded candidates on some seats.

By-election has become a matter of prestige for BJP

Let us tell you that the UP by-election has become a matter of prestige for the BJP. After the BJP's seats decreased in the Lok Sabha elections , the BJP is putting all its strength in the by-election. The UP by-election will be considered a semi-final before the 2027 assembly elections.

The 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh where by-elections are to be held include Milkipur, Katehari, Sisamau, Karhal, Khair, Manjhawa, Phulpur, Ghaziabad city, Mirapur and Kundarki.
