Mumbai: Mrs. Bakshi (Guddi Maruti) sees Vijay Mathew (Anupam Kher) jumping into the water. Everyone thinks that Vijay is no more in this world. In the church, Vijay's 30-year-old friend Fali (Chunky Pandey) reminds him how Vijay had won the trophy in Garba Nights Dance three times. However, Vijay is not dead. He goes and stays at one of his friend's house that night. Mrs. Bakshi had some misunderstanding.

When Vijay sees the page where Fali has written about his achievements, he gets angry and asks her why she didn't tell him about his bronze medal in swimming at the National Swimming Championship. He then sits down to write his achievements on a page, but doesn't find any other achievement. Aditya (Mihir Ahuja) from Vijay's neighborhood is going to participate in a triathlon, which involves swimming for 1.5 km, cycling for 40 km and running for 10 km. Vijay also participates in it so that people remember his achievement after he is gone.

Directing the film Chakachak

While commercial films do not tire of claiming big box office collections without a good story, this film proves that to make a good film, a big budget is not required, but a good story and clear intentions are required. Director Akshay Roy, who has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film, does not miss anything in the story or in the direction. The film moves forward touching many things like the lack of a partner who will support as a cheerleader in old age, the need of true friends, the struggle to rediscover one's own identity.

Heart touching dialogues in the movie

Vijay's sleep inside the coffin and thinking about what he did in life is shocking. The scenes that present the media as a cartoon show that the writers and directors of the film industry need to do a lot of research in this area.

The dialogues in the film remind us to consider age as just a number. Akshay has not portrayed Vijay's character as a superhero. He has created this character with age-related problems.

Anupam Kher learned swimming for the film

Anupam Kher had told in his interview that he had learned swimming for this film. He himself is 69 years old, so the spirit of considering age as just a number in real life is also visible in this film. When he reaches the finish line in the climax, his victory feels very personal.

Chunky Pandey forgets to speak in Parsi language at times, but the way he has played the role of a true friend hides these shortcomings. Seeing Guddi Maruti on screen, one feels that she should work more. Sulagna Panigrahi in the role of the daughter and Mihir Ahuja in the role of the rival have done a good job. Vrajesh Hirjee's character in the role of the coach should have been given more space.
