MP Police On New Year 2025: Madhya Pradesh Police has already started preparations for the New Year celebrations. Police will monitor hotels, pubs and other places serving liquor through CCTV cameras. Apart from this, surprise checking of drivers will also be done with alcohol detectors. All this is being done to prevent road accidents on New Year.

The police headquarters has issued instructions to take various types of action to crack down on those who create any kind of ruckus and hooliganism on the New Year. Preparations have also begun to implement these instructions on the ground.

Ujjain SP Pradeep Kumar Sharma said that a checking campaign will be conducted in Ujjain on the New Year. Strict action will be taken against those driving vehicles after drinking alcohol through alcohol detectors. Apart from this, CCTV cameras are also being installed around hotels and other places serving alcohol, through monitoring of which strict action will be taken against those creating ruckus. 

There will be strictness in Indore and Dewas as well

According to Dewas SP Puneet Gehlot, along with controlling the speed of vehicles on the highway, checking campaigns will be conducted through alcohol detectors. Vehicles of drunk drivers will be confiscated and they will be sent to jail. Indore Police Commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh has also issued an advisory to senior police officers to prevent ruckus on New Year and has instructed them to take strict action.

Ujjain Superintendent of Police Pradeep Sharma has appealed to the people to celebrate the New Year with pomp and show but they should definitely follow the rules and laws. Drivers have been told not to drive after consuming alcohol or any other intoxicating substance. Apart from this, travel with complete documents of the vehicle.
