Ghaziabad News: If you also keep fasts during Navratri with devotion and use buckwheat flour in it, then this news is for you. Because 17 people fell ill after eating buckwheat flour in Ghaziabad's Nandgram police station area. All of them had to be admitted to Maryam Hospital in Nandgram, who were diagnosed with food poisoning by the doctor after examination.

People told that they had brought buckwheat flour from Amit Atta Chakki near them. After consuming buckwheat flour during fasting, 17 people became victims of food poisoning. They are admitted in Maryam Hospital today. On the other hand, this news created a stir in the Food Safety Department. Officials are busy taking samples from Amit Atta Chakki. The doctor of Maryam Hospital also told that a large number of patients had come. Some of the patients have recovered and gone home, some patients are admitted in the hospital.

The Food Department is collecting samples from shops.
Food Safety Officer Arvind Yadav said that, in the morning we received information about a person who ate buckwheat flour being admitted to the hospital. After which we took samples of that shop as well as the place from where the shopkeeper had bought the buckwheat items. Two and a half quintals of buckwheat sacks were also seized from that farm. Also, these days four teams of the department are continuously taking samples of shops. We have sealed around 15 such shops in which deficiencies and mistakes were found. Along with this, we have appealed to the people that whoever eats buckwheat food should consume as little as possible. Also, use cold food items along with it.
