New Delhi: Co-founder of online food ordering and delivery platform Zomato, Aakriti Chopra has resigned. She has said goodbye to the company due to her other interests. Aakriti, who is currently working as the Chief People Officer (CPO) at Zomato, was associated with the company since 2011.

In these 13 years, he played an important role in sections like finance and operations in the company. In 2021, he was promoted and made a co-founder.

Who is Aakriti Chopra?

Aakriti Chopra, who is a part of the senior management of Zomato, was one of the co-founders. She joined the company in 2011. Before Zomato, Aakriti Chopra was an articled assistant at PWC. She has completed her graduation from Lady Shriram College for Women, Delhi University.

She was promoted to co-founder in 2021. Prior to this, Akriti was working as Vice President, Finance.

Married to the co-founder of Blinkit

Aakriti Chopra is married to Albinder Dhindsa, co-founder of quick commerce company Blinkit. Zomato acquired Blinkit for $570 million in June this year. Many shareholders had accused the company of keeping them in the dark about Aakriti and Albinder's relationship.

However, Zomato's CEO supported both of them and said that the board knew everything about Albinder and Aakriti. He also said that the relationship between the two is already public and there is nothing to keep anyone in the dark about it.
