New Delhi : AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has posted a post related to Muslims on his X handle. He has said, 'Muslims have been made untouchable in India. 15 Muslim families are being boycotted in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Traders of Chamoli have threatened that Muslims will have to leave Chamoli by 31 December. If the landlords give houses to Muslims, they will have to pay a fine of 10 thousand.'
What else did Owaisi say?
Owaisi said, 'This is the same Uttarakhand where the government is implementing Uniform Civil Code in the name of equality. Don't the Muslims of Chamoli have the right to live with equality and respect? If Modi can hug Arab Sheikhs, he can also hug the Muslims of Chamoli. After all, Modi is the Prime Minister of India, not of Saudi or Dubai.'
Whom will Owaisi support in the UP by-election?
Earlier, after the announcement of the dates of by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, Asaduddin Owaisi had made it clear whom he would support. In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the Samajwadi Party had performed well in the state. In such a situation, the by-elections being held here are also very important for the ruling BJP and the parties sitting in the opposition. For this reason, all the parties would like to win here and prove that the public is with them. In such a situation, the stand of Asaduddin Owaisi's party has also become very important.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Uttar Pradesh by-elections said, "We will contest these elections together with my sister Dr. Pallavi Patel (Apna Dal, Kamerawadi). Our Uttar Pradesh chief has told me that we will contest on two seats. Pallavi Patel will decide on the remaining seats. We will fight these by-elections together."
The Bharatiya Janata Party has a clear majority in Uttar Pradesh. In such a situation, the results of the by-elections will not have any effect on the state government. However, these by-elections are a prestige battle between Akhilesh Yadav and Yogi Adityanath. Both leaders would like to prove by getting their candidates elected that they are more powerful and will win the upcoming elections. Even though Owaisi is contesting on two seats, UP politics has never been easy for him.
