UP News: A 17-year-old minor was beheaded with a sword in a land dispute in Kabiruddinpur village of Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. Police gave this information. According to district administration officials, this land dispute is 40 years old and the case is currently in the civil court.

Officials said that District Magistrate Dinesh Chandra has suspended Lekhpal (local revenue officer) Jagdish Yadav, while a report has been sent to the administration for action against Revenue Inspector Munni Lal, who oversees the area. Superintendent of Police Ajaypal Sharma said that this violence was the result of a land dispute between Ramjit Yadav and Laalta Yadav of the village.

Superintendent of Police Ajaypal Sharma said, "Lalta Yadav's son Ramesh Yadav started clearing grass from the disputed land this morning before Diwali, which increased the tension. During this, Ramesh attacked Anurag Yadav, son of Ramjit Yadav, with a sword and beheaded him."

After this incident, Laalta Yadav has been arrested and the search for her son Ramesh is on. Additional police force has been deployed in the village to prevent any kind of violence. An FIR has been registered against six people in Gaurabadshahpur police station in this case.

Akhilesh Yadav raised questions on law and order

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav condemned the violence and alleged that law and order has collapsed in the state. In a post on 'X', Akhilesh Yadav said, "There is a strange contradictory relationship between today's government and crime. On one hand, both are together, while on the other hand, the more the government is becoming weak and inactive, the more powerful and active the criminals are becoming. Today's Uttar Pradesh says that we do not want the Bharatiya Janata Party."

Additional District Magistrate (ADM) R A Chauhan has been appointed to conduct a magisterial inquiry into the matter and submit a report within three days. In a statement, District Magistrate Chandra condemned the crime and assured strict administrative action against those responsible. He said that this land dispute is 40 years old and is currently pending in the civil court.
