Kanpur Dehat Road Accident News: People from all over the country and the world are reaching Maha Kumbh to take a holy dip. The number is reaching crores. A few days ago, some devotees who had reached Maha Kumbh died in a stampede and some devotees were seriously injured. However, the investigation of the stampede is still going on.

Meanwhile, people who left their homes for Maha Kumbh are becoming victims of accidents. A day earlier, a bus full of devotees returning from Maha Kumbh to Chittorgarh, Rajasthan met with an accident on the National Highway, in which 18 people were seriously injured and one devotee died.

Today (3 February) a big accident happened with a family from Rajasthan who had come to take a holy dip in Maha Kumbh. In which the car of the devotees went out of control and collided with another imported vehicle. In which the husband and wife died on the spot, while three other people in the car were seriously injured.

Five members of a family were travelling in  
a Swift car near the toll plaza of the national highway in Akbarpur Kotwali area near Kanpur Dehat. Five members of a family were travelling in a high-speed car. They had left their home in Rajasthan for the Maha Kumbh . But the devotees might not have realised that this would be their last journey.

Suddenly the car went out of the driver's control. 
This family left for Prayag from Balaji Mehandipur very happily, but met with death on the way. Actually the driver driving the car suddenly fell asleep. A devotee travelling in the car told that the driver was driving at a high speed, he was continuously telling the driver to drive slowly and if he was feeling tired then stop the car and take a rest, but even after being told the driver did not stop the car and he kept on driving. Meanwhile, suddenly the car went out of the driver's control. After which the car collided.

Everyone was taken to the nearest district hospital.
By the time anyone could understand anything, the accident had already happened. Passersby and National Highway Authority personnel started the rescue operation and pulled out the people trapped in the car. After this, they were taken to the nearest district hospital, but the collision was so severe that the husband and wife sitting in the car died on the spot. On reaching the hospital, the doctor declared them dead.

All are said to be from Mehandipur, Rajasthan.
Regarding this accident, CMS Khalid Rizwan of Kanpur Dehat District Hospital said that 5 people were brought to the hospital during the accident. All are said to be from Mehandipur, Rajasthan. The police took all of them to the district hospital, out of which one woman and one man had died. They were sent for post-mortem. Three more people were also injured during the accident, who are being treated.
