70th BPSC PT Result Out: The commission released the result of the 70th BPSC preliminary examination on Thursday (23 January). A total of 21 thousand 581 candidates have passed the PT examination. The result can be seen on the basis of roll number by downloading the PDF. This examination was conducted for 2035 posts.
Protests are still going on after the exam
Let us tell you that there was a lot of uproar in Bihar after the examination. Candidates are still sitting on dharna demanding re-examination. After allegations of irregularities, the examination was conducted again only at Bapu Examination Complex in Patna on January 4. On the other hand, the hearing regarding the re-examination is going on in Patna High Court. The High Court has sought a reply from the government and the commission by January 30.
Patna High Court has not banned the exam for now. However, if any irregularity is found in the exam, all the decisions taken by the commission till now will be cancelled. If the irregularity is not proved in the court, then all the decisions of the commission will remain intact.
There was a lot of uproar along with the protest
It is worth noting that the candidates are still sitting on a dharna in Patna demanding re-examination. Many leaders including Pappu Yadav and Prashant Kishore also participated in this but the exam was not completely cancelled. Candidates were even lathicharged in Patna. From Khan Sir to Guru Rehman, everyone came forward but the commission (BPSC) did not pay heed to anyone's words and said that no irregularities have taken place. If there has been any, then the proof should be brought. Now the result has been released.
