Cashless treatment for 9 lakh teachers

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a historic announcement to provide cashless medical treatment to approximately 9 lakh teachers in the state. This scheme includes teachers from basic, secondary, and higher education, as well as Shiksha Mitras, instructors, and cooks. This provides significant health security to teachers and their families.

Uttar Pradesh Outsource Service Corporation for outsourced employees

To end the exploitation of outsourced workers, the Uttar Pradesh Outsourced Services Corporation Limited was formed. This ensures transparent recruitment, timely salaries, EPF and ESI, a minimum honorarium of 16,000 to 20,000 rupees, and job security.

Small and marginal farmers will get loans at just 6%.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a major announcement for small and marginal farmers on December 21st, under the International Cooperative Year 2025. Under the Chief Minister's Farmer Prosperity Scheme, small and marginal farmers in the state will receive loans through the UP Cooperative Village Development Bank (LDB) at an interest rate of just 0.6 percent. Previously, farmers received loans from this bank at an interest rate of 11.50 percent. The remaining interest will be borne by the state government.

Sugarcane farmers get major relief, Rs 30 per quintal hike

For the 2025-26 crushing season, the price of sugarcane was increased by a record Rs 30 per quintal. This brought the price of early sugarcane to Rs 400, normal sugarcane to Rs 390, and unsuitable varieties to Rs 355 per quintal. This decision directly increased the income of millions of farmers.

Historic police recruitment in Uttar Pradesh

Appointment letters were distributed in a historic recruitment ceremony for 60,244 police constables in Uttar Pradesh, attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This recruitment drive was considered one of the largest and most transparent in the country. More than 12,000 women were also selected, and it was hailed as a major step towards a "safer Uttar Pradesh" and a "new India."

Launch of 'Vikasit UP Abhiyan' for the overall development of the state

The Uttar Pradesh government has launched the "Samarth Uttar Pradesh - Vikasit Uttar Pradesh @2047" campaign for the overall development of the state, with the aim of achieving a developed state by 2047. To this end, suggestions are being sought from the public through the "Samarth Uttar Pradesh Portal," focusing on areas such as education, health, agriculture, and urban-rural development.

Women get an additional 1% discount on registration fees.

The Uttar Pradesh government has given an additional 1% rebate in property registration fee (Stamp Duty) to women, which was earlier only on properties up to Rs 10 lakh, but has now been extended to properties up to Rs 1 crore, which can save them a maximum of Rs 1 lakh and is an important step towards women empowerment, making them financially strong.

20% reservation for Agniveers in UP Police and PAC

To rehabilitate Agniveers after their service to the nation, a decision was made to provide 20 percent reservation in UP Police and PAC recruitment. This secured the future of the youth.

Double the grant under Chief Minister's Mass Marriage Scheme for poor daughters

Under the Chief Minister's Mass Marriage Scheme, the marriage grant was increased from 51,000 rupees to 100,000 rupees. The income limit was also raised to 300,000 rupees, providing relief to thousands of poor families.

Historic decision of cabinet meeting on the occasion of Mahakumbh

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a historic decision by holding a cabinet meeting in the Mahakumbh city. After Ayodhya, the Chief Minister set an example by holding a cabinet meeting in the Mahakumbh city. Old Age Pension Scheme linked with Family ID

The decision to link the old-age pension scheme with the Family ID was also taken this year. A pilot project will be launched in Amethi, Kasganj, Gorakhpur, Lalitpur, and Basti. Pensions will begin arriving in accounts upon reaching the age of 60. No application will be required. Family IDs will automatically identify individuals, and consent will be obtained via SMS.

Schemes and institutions named after great men

The Yogi government decided to build a hostel in the name of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, a women's hostel in the name of Lokmata Ahilyabai, a textile park in the name of Saint Kabirdas, a leather park in the name of Saint Ravidas, a seed park in the name of Chaudhary Charan Singh, and an urban library in the name of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. These decisions gave new recognition to social harmony and development.

Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee-Chevening Scholarship Scheme

The Yogi government has decided to launch the "Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee-Chevening Scholarship Scheme" to enable students to pursue master's degrees at prestigious UK universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College, and the London School of Economics. Under this scheme, five talented students from the state will be awarded full scholarships each year for a one-year master's degree at any prestigious university in the United Kingdom.

Rani Laxmi Bai Scooty Scheme announced for meritorious girl students

In the 2025 budget, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the launch of the Rani Lakshmibai Scooty Scheme. Under this scheme, meritorious female students in the state will be provided with free scooters so they can continue their education without interruption. This scheme will be especially beneficial for female students who come to study in cities from remote villages and face transportation challenges.

Employment Mission Committee constituted to accelerate employment generation

The Uttar Pradesh government has established the Uttar Pradesh Employment Mission to provide youth with employment opportunities at the national and international levels. Through this mission, concrete initiatives are being taken to provide employment opportunities to the state's youth in various parts of the country and abroad.
