Rome: Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has said that India can play an important role in ending the Ukraine war. Meloni said this after meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to Italy's state television, Prime Minister Meloni has described the role of China and India as important in ending the war. He said that if the Russian army withdraws from Ukrainian soil, this solution will become easier.

Meloni in support of Ukraine

The bilateral talks between Meloni and Zelensky took place on the sidelines of the European countries' conference. In this 40-minute conversation, Meloni announced to continue supporting Ukraine in the face of Russian attack.

Meloni said, if international rules are not respected, problems and chaos will increase. This will also increase conflict. In such a situation, Ukraine cannot be left alone. Italy has decided to support Ukraine based on its beliefs and this will not change.
