Washington: Former US National Security Adviser Lt Gen (retd) H R McMaster has claimed in his book that the Indian government is keen on unprecedented cooperation with the US mainly because of Chinese aggression. However, India also fears getting trapped in this cooperation and being abandoned by the US.
