News Topical, Digital Desk : Congress On Thackeray Brothers Rally: The political controversy over 'Hindi language' in Maharashtra is increasing. Congress has supported the joint rally to be organized by Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray on July 5. Congress says that it will support the protest march to be held on July 5 against the 'imposition' of Hindi in the school curriculum in Maharashtra.

When asked about Congress' participation in the joint rally of Shiv Sena UBT and MNS, Maharashtra Congress state president Harshvardhan Sapkal said, “We are also against the issue on which this rally is being organised. The government's decision should be withdrawn. The government's decision should be cancelled.”

Congress is running a campaign on the issue

He further said, "Many writers and activists are protesting in their own way. We have spread awareness on this issue, written letters to everyone and are running a campaign. Other people are also making efforts at their level. This should be done collectively."

Raj and Uddhav Thackeray's joint rally in Mumbai on July 5

It is noteworthy that Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray, who were once bitter rivals in Maharashtra politics, are going to come together on one platform once again. A joint rally has been announced in Mumbai on July 5. This rally is against the imposition of Hindi on Marathi language and culture. It is being claimed that the purpose of this rally is to give the message of preserving Marathi language, Marathi Manus and local culture.

Raj Thackeray and Uddhav Thackeray parted ways in 2006. After this, both the leaders have been avoiding coming face to face with each other on political platforms. That means after about 20 years, Thackeray brothers will be seen together on the political platform.
