The US Justice Department has re-released a photo from the recently released Jeffrey Epstein documents, which shows President Donald Trump with several women.

The Justice Department clarified the photo's removal as temporary after the Southern District of New York objected to the image to protect the identities of victims. The photo does not depict any Epstein victims.

Which photo was removed?

Photos from the Epstein file showed Trump standing with a group of women, while another showed him with his wife, Melania, Epstein and Epstein's now-convicted associate, Ghislaine Maxwell. It also included photos of the disgraced financier with former President Bill Clinton and Pope John Paul II.

Why were the photos removed?

The Justice Department said it was temporarily removed pending review after the Southern District of New York objected to the photo to protect the identities of victims. However, after online outcry, it was reinstated and clarified that the photo did not depict any of Epstein's victims.

The Justice Department said in a post on the social media site X that the Southern District of New York has flagged a photo of President Trump for possible further action to protect victims. The Justice Department said the image was temporarily removed pending further review. After review, it was determined that the photo contained no evidence of any of Epstein's victims, and it was reposted without any changes or edits.
