Nirjala Ekadashi 2025 Date and Shubh Muhurat
According to the Vedic calendar, the Ekadashi date of the Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month will be on June 06 at 02:15 am. At the same time, the date will end on June 07 at 04:47 am. In such a situation, Nirjala Ekadashi (Kab Hai Nirjala Ekadashi 2025) fast will be observed on June 06.
Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat Vidhi
- On the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, after taking bath in the morning, offer arghya to Sun God.
- After this start the puja.
- Light a lamp of desi ghee and perform aarti.
- Take a pledge to fast.
- Avoid food and water during the day of the fast.
- During the fast, meditate on the name of Lord Vishnu.
- Do bhajan-kirtan (religious singing) during the day.
- Eat fruits after doing puja at night.
- Perform puja after taking bath on the next day i.e. on Dwadashi Tithi.
- Offer satvik food to Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi.
- Make sure to include basil leaves in the offering.
- After this, break the fast.
- Donate things like food, money etc. to poor people.
