However, the game of hide and seek between rain and sunshine continues in Delhi-NCR. For the past few days, both sunshine and rain are being witnessed in Delhi-NCR. Apart from this, if we talk about other states, there is heavy rain from UP to Bihar and from Rajasthan to MP. At the same time, rain has wreaked havoc in Uttarakhand and Himachal as well. Here people are even facing landslides. 

Light rain expected in Delhi-NCR

First of all, if we talk about Delhi-NCR, then for the past several days, the sun has been playing hide and seek among the clouds. Here, sometimes due to strong sunlight and sometimes due to rain, people are facing problems. However, due to rain in Delhi-NCR, the weather is cool. At the same time, people are also troubled due to sunlight during the afternoon. At present, the Meteorological Department has predicted similar weather in Delhi-NCR. Today, on July 20, light rain can be seen in some areas of Delhi-NCR. 

Alert in these districts of UP-Bihar

On the other hand, the effect of rain is being seen in UP-Bihar for the last several days. Alert has been issued regarding rain in many districts of UP even today. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Banda, Chitrakoot, Mahoba, Orai, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Kanpur, Kanpur Dehat, Etawah, Auraiya, Kannauj, Farrukhabad, Etah, Mainpuri, Hathras, Aligarh, Agra, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Bareilly, Saharanpur, Shamli and Meerut districts of UP. On the other hand, rain has been predicted in Aurangabad, Gaya, Jamui, Rohtas, Kaimur, Patna, Nawada, Kishanganj, Araria, West Champaran and East Champaran districts of Bihar. There are also chances of lightning at some places here. 

Update for MP and Rajasthan

Talking about Madhya Pradesh, all the rivers and streams are in spate due to rain. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Bhopal, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Ujjain, Raisen, Sehore, Betul, Narmadapuram, Burhanpur, Harda, Khandwa, Khargone, Jhabua, Dhar, Barwani, Alirajpur, Sagar, Indore, Dewas, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Shajapur, Agar, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Sheopur, Bhind, Datia and Morena in MP today. Apart from this, many districts of Rajasthan are also facing problems due to rain. However, the Meteorological Department has currently indicated relief from rain in some districts of Rajasthan after today.

Alert issued in Himachal and Uttarakhand as well

Rain has wreaked havoc in Himachal Pradesh in the past few days. There have been many cases of landslides and sudden floods in rivers. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in many districts of Himachal even today. In view of this, a yellow alert has also been issued. Similar weather is expected till July 22. In such a situation, people have been appealed to remain alert. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for Nainital, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar and Pauri in Uttarakhand. A yellow alert has been issued in Dehradun, Tehri, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh. Light rain is also expected in Haridwar, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Almora.
