Addressing a gathering of spiritual leaders and devotees at the Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan auditorium following the formal worship of the Vyaspeeth, the Chief Minister pointed out the unique behavioral pitfalls spawned by modern media. He noted that navigating everyday choices has grown exceedingly complicated because online algorithms frequently amplify "half-truths"—distortions that create superficial certainty while breeding deep confusion and social alienation. In this pervasive climate of digital fragmentation, timeless spiritual discourse provides an essential compass, helping human beings cut through external noise, resolve cognitive dissonance, and ground themselves in enduring truths.

Welcoming the presiding Katha Vyas, Malukpeethadhiswar Shrimad Jagadguru Dwaracharya Agrapeethadhiswar Swami Shri Rajendradas Ji Maharaj of Vrindavan, the Chief Minister highlighted that the sacred scripture has preserved Sanatan civilization across millennia of geopolitical and cultural transformations. First imparted by sage Shukdev to King Parikshit on the banks of the Ganga five thousand years ago, the living narrative has transcended centuries of historical turmoil, continuing to illuminate human purpose and self-realization for seekers worldwide.
Grand Vedic Procession and Sacred Akhand Jyoti Installation
The spiritual assembly commenced earlier in the day with a majestic ceremonial procession led by CM Yogi Adityanath. Devotees and Vedic scholars chanted sacred mantras and blew conch shells as the holy text was carried from the main sanctum sanctorum of the Gorakhnath Temple to the auditorium. Following the sacred consecration of the Akhand Jyoti (eternal flame) and ceremonial puja of the Vyaspeeth, Swami Rajendradas Ji Maharaj began daily recitations, which will take place between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM through Tuesday, September 29. The grand spiritual convention was attended by prominent monastic leaders, including Jagadguru Swami Sugreev Kiladhish of Ayodhya, Vishwesh Prapannacharya, Jagadguru Raghavacharya of Ramlala Sadan Ayodhya, Mahant Narayan Giri, Swami Shridharacharya, Raju Das, and numerous revered saints and devotees.
