Commending the visionary leadership of former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, CM Yogi described him as a towering, universally accepted figure who transcends ideological and political boundaries. He praised Naidu's unique ability to unite people and his instrumental role in promoting regional arts, cuisine, and culture—particularly Telugu heritage—on a national platform. Comparing the parallel journeys of national progress, CM Yogi noted that the nation's governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the grassroots social service journey of the Swarna Bharat Trust both commenced in 2001, sharing the ultimate unified goal of a fully developed India (Viksit Bharat).

Reviving Rural Self-Reliance and Gram Swaraj

Reflecting on India's historical strengths, the Chief Minister highlighted that ancient Indian villages were thriving centers of circular economics, arts, agriculture, and social values. Foreign invasions and the colonial era severely fractured rural self-reliance and local institutions. Praising Mahatma Gandhi's call for Gram Swaraj, CM Yogi commended the Swarna Bharat Trust for operationalizing this vision since 2001 through comprehensive vocational training, healthcare camps, farmer education, and its pioneering Residential Bridge School that successfully reintegrates underprivileged children into mainstream education.

Empowering Artisans Through ODOP and Mission Shakti

Detailing Uttar Pradesh's governance successes, CM Yogi shared how traditional artisans—once hindered by a lack of modern design and market access—were revitalized through the state's pioneering One District, One Product (ODOP) scheme and the Vishwakarma Shramik Samman Yojana. Furthermore, through initiatives like Mission Shakti and the deployment of rural women as BC Sakhis, the state has successfully empowered rural daughters, providing secure employment, digital financial training, and decentralized banking services directly within their villages.

Eradicating Encephalitis and Leveraging Technology for the Masses

Recalling the tragic history of acute encephalitis syndrome that claimed thousands of children's lives in eastern Uttar Pradesh for decades, the Chief Minister credited the collaborative success of the Swachh Bharat Mission and the grassroots Dastak Abhiyan—implemented under PM Modi's leadership with cabinet support from leaders like Venkaiah Naidu—for completely eradicating the deadly disease. Concluding his address, CM Yogi emphasized that modern technology does not discriminate; through Jan Dhan accounts, digital public infrastructure, and Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT), New India has bridged social divides, ensuring that government welfare reaches the most marginalized citizens transparently and without middlemen.
