CM Yogi to Honor 15,000 Anganwadi Workers in Ayodhya Today: State-Level Mega Ceremony and Temple Visits Scheduled
Recognizing the pivotal grassroots contribution of women community workers in child nutrition and public welfare, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to honor 12,000 to 15,000 Anganwadi workers and assistants in Ayodhya today, September 8, 2026. The grand state-level felicitation ceremony will be hosted at the Government Inter College (GIC) grounds. While the main event unfolds in Ayodhya in the direct presence of the Chief Minister, parallel commemorative events will be broadcast live and organized simultaneously across every district of the state.

District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi confirmed that alongside thousands of dedicated Anganwadi workers from the Ayodhya division, women belonging to various Self-Help Groups (SHGs) who actively oversee ration distribution will also participate in the massive gathering. Departmental ministers, senior administrative officials, and local public representatives will join the celebrations. Under the meticulous supervision of Chief Development Officer Krishna Kumar Singh, expansive logistical arrangements have been put in place to ensure seamless coordination for the statewide broadcast.
