Deputy Chief Minister Shri Maurya extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of the country and the state on the occasion of Diwali.

In his greeting message, Mr. Maurya stated that Diwali is a festival that symbolizes Indian culture, faith, and glorious traditions. It conveys the eternal message of the triumph of light over darkness, truth over falsehood, and righteousness (dharma) over unrighteousness (adharma). Every lamp lit during Diwali brings happiness, prosperity, peace, harmony, and positive energy into the lives of the people.

The Deputy Chief Minister noted that Diwali is a sacred festival associated with the return of Lord Shri Ram to Ayodhya after his 14-year exile and his subsequent coronation. The festival inspires us to embody ideals such as moral integrity (maryada), truth, sacrifice, devotion to duty, and the welfare of society. Mr. Maurya expressed his wish that, through the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha, everyone’s life may be filled with happiness, prosperity, good health, and well-being. He hoped that love, brotherhood, and social harmony would be strengthened within society, and that the light of joy would reach every home.

Urging the people of the state to celebrate Diwali in a spirit of mutual love, harmony, and environmental conservation, he expressed his hope that this sacred festival would bring new hope, enthusiasm, and the promise of a bright future into everyone’s life.
