News Topical, Digital Desk : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed preparations for the fifth groundbreaking ceremony for private investment projects worth over ₹5 lakh crore. At a high-level meeting of the Industrial Development Department on Thursday, the Chief Minister stated that four groundbreaking ceremonies have been held in the past eight and a half years, following the mantra of "Reform, Perform, Transform."

 Through this, industrial projects worth over ₹15 lakh crore have been implemented, and over 6 million youth have received guaranteed jobs and employment. Now, preparations should be made for the upcoming GBC 5 in November. The Chief Minister directed that all departments ensure timely action and regular monitoring of the progress of each investment proposal.

CM Yogi directed

While reviewing proposals for land allotments to various private industrial units, the Chief Minister directed that the land acquisition process should be conducted in a coordinated manner. Everyone has an emotional connection to their land. It is their lifelong asset. If the acquisition of their land is necessary in the interest of the state, they should receive adequate compensation. 

He also said that there should be no complaints of harassment from anywhere. Through dialogue and coordination, this work can be accomplished easily. All industrial development authorities should consider increasing the current compensation rates for land acquisition to suit the needs of their respective areas. This is the need of the hour, and it is in the best interest of farmers.

Fintech hub to be developed in Noida-Yogi Adityanath

Stressing the need to step up export promotion efforts, the Chief Minister called for the development of a FinTech hub in one of Noida, Greater Noida, or the Yamuna Authority, with offices for major banking institutions. He also said that a planned effort is needed to further improve the export of electronics products.

The Chief Minister also directed that land allotments for industrial units that fail to utilize the land properly should be canceled after a maximum of three years. The land should be allocated to another investor.

The Chief Minister emphasized the need to make the Nivesh Mitra and Nivesh Sarathi portals more accessible and simple. He said that investors, whether small or large, should not have to run around offices. Directing efforts to ensure that every citizen benefits from the GST reforms, which are set to take effect on September 22nd, the Chief Minister expressed hope that these will directly benefit the common man.

CM Yogi discussed the action plan for development

During the meeting, the Chief Minister also discussed the action plan for the development of special employment zones dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in all districts. He stated that these employment zones will be developed in a phased manner on at least 100 acres in all districts, and land availability should be ensured.

This region will be a hub of industry, investment, entrepreneurship, innovation, skill development, and employment. This action plan will serve as a model for the entire country. It was informed at the meeting that a GVA target of ₹5 lakh crore has been set for the manufacturing sector for the year 2025-26.

 This requires the registration of 8,000 new/existing units under the Factories Act. So far, 1,354 units have been registered. The Chief Minister directed the process of labor reforms to be further accelerated and unused industrial land plots to be activated.
